Hey there, my name is Ben, and I have a deep history of health and fitness. It’s been a part of my life since I was I born. Literally. I was born with developmental dysplasia of the hip and was bound to a full body brace immediately. I think even as a youngster, I didn’t want to take my ability to run, jump, and even walk for granted. I was hooked on physical activity and it stayed with me for life.

The origin and idea behind Health and Motion is rooted in relationships and stories of people in my life that were unhappy with their current lifestyle, but found it hard to change. It had been difficult to see an outside perspective on how tough an active lifestyle change could be for a lot of people who hadn’t been exposed to it before. Talking with many of these people, I found that it was important to break away from traditional resources, and create a more effective way to help these people prosper. Mobile training and therapy was a no-brainer.

There are plenty of reasons that people I know struggle with starting a healthy lifestyle, such as: finding time in their busy day, finding the courage to step into a crowded gym, accessing the knowledge and skills needed to create a successful program, and even accessing a facility. Try stacking these obstacles… It’s important to provide options to save you time, eliminate travelling (especially in the winter), provide a comfortable, low stress environment, and unlocking a breadth of knowledge accessible through our trainers.

Health and wellness should be accessible, convenient, and effective for everyone.
